SPARK Art: Drawing Wild Kratts, SpongeBob & Gabby's Dollhouse 2025
Kids ages 5-8 will explore drawing and illustration techniques inspired by the colorful worlds of Wild Kratts, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Gabby's Dollhouse in our class Drawing Adventures. Each week, we’ll focus on a new character or theme, teaching children how to bring characters to life on paper through simple shapes, fun colors, and creative storytelling. From underwater wonders with SpongeBob to animal adventures with the Wild Kratts and magical mini-worlds with Gabby, kids will learn foundational drawing skills while expressing their creativity.
This class is perfect for young artists who love cartoons and want to learn how to illustrate their favorite characters!
What to Expect, may include:
- Weekly Themes: Each week, we will highlight a new, age appropriate themes drawn from the featured shows.
- Creative Techniques: Children will experiment with drawing, painting, collage, and using materials like watercolors, pastels, paint sticks and recyclable items.
- Character Creations: Kids will create their own versions of favorite characters, design new creatures and settings, and craft stories that bring their artwork to life.
- Skill Development: Focus on fundamental art skills such as color mixing, shape recognition, fine motor coordination, and spatial awareness in a fun, engaging way.
Materials Provided: All necessary art supplies will be provided, including paints, brushes, paper, glue, scissors, clay, and more. Kids are encouraged to bring their imagination and a willingness to explore!
