SPARK Labs: Intro 3D Creations in TinkerCad & 3D Printing

Discover the magic of 3D design in our beginner-friendly TinkerCad class! Our Intro 3D Creations in TinkerCad & 3D Printing class introduces kids ages 7-10 to the basics of 3D modeling using TinkerCad, a fun and intuitive online tool in our class. Students will learn how to create and manipulate shapes, build simple 3D models, and explore their creativity as they bring their ideas to life. By the end of the class, kids will have created their own unique 3D designs and gained a strong foundation in digital design skills.

Materials Provided: All necessary TinkerCad materials, laptops, software and 3D Printer included

Ages: 7-10 years old
Dates: Tuesdays March 20th, 27th, April 3rd, 17th, 24th, May 1st, 8th, 16th. No class April 10th due to MDUSD Spring Break
Time: 3:30-5 pm
Sessions: 8
Kid Drop Off

Required Skills:

Reading Fluently

Writing proficiently

Basic understanding of math, recommended understanding of mathematical concepts, grids and planes.

Confident in navigating the computer.
